GymRating AI ("the app") is operated by an independent developer ("we", "us"). This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your choices.

Data we collect

• Account data: your email address and a password, used to create and sign in to your account. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication.
• Profile data: optional fitness details you enter during onboarding (goal, experience level, age, height, weight). These are stored on your device and sent with each analysis request to personalize results.
• Physique photos: photos you choose to upload for analysis. Photos are transmitted securely (HTTPS) to our server and forwarded to OpenAI's API to generate your analysis. We do not permanently store your photos — they are processed for the analysis and are not saved to our database.
• Analysis results: your scores and feedback are saved to your account history in Google Cloud Firestore so you can track progress over time.

How your data is used

• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To generate AI-based physique analysis from the photo you submit.
• To show your scan history and progress charts.
• To enforce fair-use limits (per-user request limits).

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use your data for advertising or tracking across other apps.

Data retention and deletion

Your analysis history is retained until you delete it or delete your account. You can permanently delete your account and all stored scan history at any time from Settings → Delete Account inside the app. This action cannot be undone.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (including under the GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. You can exercise deletion directly in the app, or contact us for any other request.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

All results are AI-generated aesthetic estimations for entertainment and motivation. They are not medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

We may update this policy and will change the date above when we do.
